24 Hour Theater

Google Buzz

Think it’s possible to write, direct and act in a 7 minute play all within 24 hours? Well that’s the premise behind the Seoul Players 24 hour theater. On the night before the curtain goes up all anyone and everyone interested in joining in meets to determine teams.
Each team is divided up into a directions and actors. Those who want to write are given topics along with wacky scenarios and one liners that must be included in the script. They then have 12 hours to deliver their magnum opus back to their groups so the director and actors can get to work.
Then 24 hours from when everything started the show goes on. I’m sure they’ll be doing this again soon. This time it was held at the VFW bar in Haebangchon. I’ll give a heads up next time it goes down.
