KMK: Neal’s Yard

Neal’s Yard is a down home dessert and coffee place in Itaewon. It’s just down the road a bit from the KFC walking away from the Hamilton Hotel. What seperates Neal’s Yard from the other coffee establishments in the Da Won is their decidedly personal touch.
For starters the entire place resembles the back yard patio furniture the old crazy lady on your block used to have out every summer. You know, that old lady who sat back drinking tea and eating freshly baked biscuits while dishing the neighborhood gossip with the gals from next door. Yup, it’s just like that minus the dozen cats. That is to say Neal’s Yard is earthy and homey.
Dessert as well as coffee is a reason to pop in. The strawberry yogurt actually has real fresh straberries, imagine that! The latte doesn’t let you forget who whipped up its tasty goodness because the Neal’s Yard name is there on the foam as neat as can be. I’m a sucker for the little touches like that.
Amanda and I found respite at Neal’s Yard after trudging through a down pour. You won’t do better to satisfy that sweet tooth craving. So stop in and taste the chocolatey delights for yourself. You’ll be glad you did.
