This year when Mudfest came around I joined up with some friends and hitched a ride with Adventure Korea to Daechan Beach. We started off early on a misty Saturday morning in front of the Shinsegae Department Store at Express Bus Terminal. Angela, Sheila, and Amanda barely made the bus thanks to a previous long night out on the town.
However, once they arrived we were off on the road to beach blanket tomfoolery. We coasted down the highways for a cool three hours before breezing into the Boryeong city limits. We dumped our stuff off in our somewhat sparse hotel room. Actually, sparse doesn’t begin to cover the vacuum in that room. Still, we weren’t there to lounge on the floors, though we did that for a hot minute, so we hit the beach to take in the sights.

I wish we had pics of covering you completely in sand!
