Beauties Chatterbox Controversy
I’m late to this party, but I may as well join in anyway. So, in a recent episode of Chat with Beauties, one of the aforementioned beauties, a Korean college student, Yi Do-Kyung of Hongik University. appearing as a guest, said that “All men under 180cm (5′9″) are losers.” Her comment sparked a mini internet firestorm firing up the Korean netizens who, apparently because of their lack of stature, took offense.
If you don’t know the show Chat with Beauties, it’s a program on KBS (Korean broadcast station) that features foreign women from around the world who live in Korea and speak Korean. It’s billed as a Global Talk Show with a panel asking the beauties their opinions about various issues, events, and happenings going on in Korean society. A few of the girls from the show have been able to parlay their appearances into modeling, TV gigs, commercials and books.
Sure, the comment is stupid and childish, but the all out assault from the netizens of Korea seems a bit much.
Already one man has sued the station claiming mental distress which can only be eased by 10 million won.

I think you’re confused here – Bianca didn’t say short men were losers. Bianca was upset because her website was hacked, and her private pictures reposted on the web and commented on unfavorably. This was also quite some time ago.
It was a *Korean* university student in a guest spot on the show who said that “All men under 180cm (5′9″) are losers.”
