KMK: Han River Cruise

Last week my friends and I decided to trek out to Yeoinaru Station on Line five to take the Han River boat cruise. Here’s the park that leads to the river and the boats.

Morris brought snacks and you see how tasty they were by Jennifer’s reaction below and there’s Jane looking summery in the pic above (squint to see her!).The park is great for biking or roller blading and just hanging out to have a picnic. I’ll definitely be going back down there to enjoy the summer days.

Here’s the DLI 63 building which overlooks the river. It’s a giant golden phallus so who knows what the architect was smoking.

The day was overcast and dreary but it didn’t stop people from having their fun.
Our future boat cruising by.
The people lounging on picnic mats inspired us to do the same.Jennifer, Morris, Sheila, Ryan, & Sam
Alex & Samara joined us in the fun.
Our Chariot approaches.
The view from the boat really was great despite the crappy gray weather.

It looks like Jen’s head is the exclamation point of the 63 building.
Dueling Cameras.
Group shot! This one is my favorite.
Here’s another boat returning as we are leaving.

I believe this is the parliament building, but don’t quote me on that.

Things started to get better as dusk approached.

The Tree Series at Twilight.

Sheila sniffed out the Cass and they put her to work serving it up.
When night settled it became clear why the Han River Cruise is a must for everyone.

Sam & Jen’s hearts will go on and on

And so ended a good time. Be sure to check it out if you have time. The cruise prices are 9000 won for the regular cruise or 14000 for the music cruise which really wasn’t worth it since you spend most of the time out on the deck looking at the sights.

We took the cruise with the live music, but it wasn’t worth it. The big decision is a day or evening cruise. Opt for the evening I think.
