KMK: Namdaemun Market

Markets Shopping
I went to the market to find some oatmeal and protein powder to kick off my new healthy lifestyle. You can take exit 5 from the hoehyeon subway station on line 4.

The section of the market with western goods resold for a tad higher price is found down the above tunnel. I got the directions from eslcafe.com.
Once underground the place is swarming with all kinds of foods and food stuff. Need to stock up on jelly, peanut butter, canned goods, and all manner of things?

The many stalls also have the supplement market conerned. The prices were a bit higher, but still not that bad. I ended up buying Prolab Protein Powder, oat meal, and a bag of dried unsalted almonds. Yum! Outside the market was teeming with people out to spend their money. Not sure what kind of meat, but it sold fast! Pots and pans for those culinary adventures. I was tempted to buy some plants but carting them home on the subway didn’t seem like a fun time.

The knick knack market also was taken care of. Need a woobly doohickey? Yup, the market has got you covered.

Even beauty products can be had. This store sold some cool knock off stuff. And don’t worry about finding something to nibble on. The food vendors hawked fruit, meat, and even the shell fish and seafood below.
