Tuesdays nights at Hollywood Bar and Grill have never been friendlier to the starved and broke. Just pop in and you’ll find appetizers are all fifty percent off with a drink order.
The types of appetizers include chili fries, nachos, potato skins, poutine, chicken tenders and chips, deep fried chili peppers, burritos, chicken wings, pepperoni & garlic cheese bread, chicken or veggie quesadillas, curry fries, popcorn chicken or just regular old fries.
If you can’t get your fill on Tuesdays head over on a Wednesday for cheese steak night. Then you can grab one with fries for 7,500 Krw.
Other options include burgers, the backbone of any good pub, as well as a long list of alternatives like a chicken burger, blt, melted cheese, or their delicious pizzas. If you do go the pizza route I love the pepperoni and mushroom and the cheese burger pizza though you would always opt for the veggie, four chese, meat lovers, or one of the other varieties they have on the menu.
For something more filling and hearty and traditional they’ve got bangers and mash, shepherd’s pie, schnitzel, sirloin steaks and fish and chips but I haven’t tried any of those yet.
As far as ambiance goes Hollywood’s is no muss and no fuss. There’s a pool table, some dart boards, a few sports video games and screens showing the latest game of something or other involving a ball. It’s a pretty decent space so no issues with feeling like you’re joining the next table over for dinner.
