Kpop opens whole new musical dimensions for SOKO newcomers. Syncing your brain in tune to all the different boy bands, girl groups, solo stars and starlets in the KPop universe makes for a mind blowing task that keeps most peeps never listening to much less loving KPOP.
That ends now! As a KPOP junkie it’s my duty to ensure you enjoy this musical junk food I love so much. I’m gonna blast you the 411 on the latest and greatest KPOP acts so you too can feast on this sonic cotton candy.
UV (유브이) released a new comedic track and video! Okay, so it’s not really new as it’s a few weeks bordering on months old but since I never got around to actually viewing it until the other day it’s new to me! Their previous music like their EP “Do You Want to Be Cool” is a light hearted and comedic take on how serious the Kboy bands take their professions of love. UV takes the air out of all that in a fun way. The group stars High Syde’s Muzi and comedian Yoo Se Yoon. They took the band’s name from the first two initials of the word “유부남” which translates to Married Men.
With Itaewon Freed, guest starrting JYP, they’ve gone retro back to old skool hip hop back in the Eighties. If the hair doesn’t tell you this is an affectionate homage to the good old days then outfits and old school dance moves should! When is the last time you saw someone do Kid N Play moves besides Kid N Play? As soon as the extra asks “Where is Namsan Tower?” public English school teachers in Korea know their in for a wild ride!
These guys are fun and bring something entirely different to the Kpop table!
