Kpop opens whole new musical dimensions for SOKO newcomers. Syncing your brain in tune to all the different boy bands, girl groups, solo stars and starlets in the KPop universe makes for a mind blowing task that keeps most peeps never listening to much less loving KPOP.
That ends now! As a KPOP junkie it’s my duty to ensure you enjoy this musical junk food I love so much. I’m gonna blast you the 411 on the latest and greatest KPOP acts so you too can feast on this sonic cotton candy.
PROFILE: SEUNGRI
Lee Seung-hyun (이승현) known as SeungRi of the hugely popular boy band Big Bang has dropped his first solo album. It’s called VVIP and he’s already scored top charting hits like What Can I do. Even though Seungri isn’t the best singer of Big Bang he does take the top spot when it comes to dancing.
The baby of Big Bang pops and locks his way across a stage like nobody else. He does some of the choreography for himself as well as the group. He’s even faced off against fellow KPOP rivals like Taemin from Shinee, Eunhyuk from Super Junior, and Yunho from TVXQ (now in JYJ).
His MV for What Can I Do features a heavy electronic vibe with Seungri delivering his best moves. I don’t get the huge flower on his chest, but I’ll take him anyway.
