Two of Japan’s hottest pop groups will be travelling to Seoul to wow the people with their cutting edge sounds. Morning Musume and L’Arc en ciel arrive to play at the Seoul Olympic Gymnastic Stadium on May 17th June 1st.
L’Arc en Ciel take their name from the French word for rainbow. The group has sold over twenty million albums in the world. The quartet consists of Yukihiro on drums, Ken on guitar, hyde does the vocals, and Tetsu jams on the bass guitar.
Now I don’t know quite what to say about the second group performing, Morning Musume, who seem to be an all girl version of the Korea’s Super Junior. Their music seems to be all about ultra puff, flowery, and frothy bubble gum pop. The group started back in 1997 and has an ever evolving line up. I guess the members are interchangeable like like multi colored bulbs on a light brite set.
I love l'Arc en Ciel, what a great group! Especially the song Driver's high =)
Thanks for the comment J-Pop! I wonder if they're headed back to Korea any time soon?
Super Junior was formed off of Morning Musume.</></>Morning Musume has been there for 10 years.
