I don’t know how this post got lost in the shuffle, but apparently it did. If didn’t already know then let me tell you that in Seoul and all over Korea the face mask is in serious fashion. Ever before all this swine flu hysteria folks would have these on. I’m not sure whether they were wearing them for health reasons, to conceal plastic surgery, or to prevent the inhalation of the toxic fumes spilling from the over abundance of traffic, but they wore them to death.
As you can imagine, with the advent of swine flu, the masks have come out in full force. I’ve even seen mothers put them on tiny little three month old babies in which the the face mask can double has a hat. the one I’m wearing was given to me by the lovely people at my bank as they saw that I was without one and must have left mine at home. Never one to turn away a free gift I thanked them and put it on.
Now I can relive those episodes of Grey’s Anatomy I love if only I can find someone to be my McDreamy. Any takers?
Don’t forget about the Yellow Dust
Yellow Dust! I wish there was a remedy for it.
But if you write " I DO Have Swine Flu" on the mask you're sure to get quicker service by clearing out the lines. Of course the staff might run too, though.
Lots of fun to write 'I DO NOT HAVE THE SWINE FLU' on the front of these things… or the same thing in Korean…
