Searching for that perfect fit? In need of a new suit? Then look no further than Hahn’s Tailoring in Itaewon. Just walk on by the other tailors on the street, hustling and haggling to get you into their shops because when it comes to tailored suits Hahn’s is where its at.
His shop is located at the far end of Itaewon past the McDonald’s and next to Suji’s. I went with a charcoal super 120 wool custom tailor fully-lined, single breasted three button fastening, rear vent suit coat and pants with slanted pocket, single rear pocket, lined to the knees, and belt loops.
The price came to 450,000won. Now, I know there are other tailors in Itaewon that could have done it for less, but from what I researched when it comes to quality and workmanship nobody does it better than Hahn’s.
I also have to give a shout out to Dynasty Tailoring in Itaewon as well. They did my two sport’s jackets and I am more than pleased with the outcome. All in all I feel its money well spent.
I scoured the web long and hard to figure out what I wanted. Here are some of my finds to help you find your perfect tailor and suit in Seoul.
Seoul Steve’s How to buy a suit!
Hi! I’ve seen the phone number for Hahn’s online, but I don’t speak Korean. Do you know if he’s open on Sunday? Maybe even the hours by chance? Thanks!
His English is okay, just call him up. I’m not sure about sundays.
Ok, thanks for the advice 🙂
You’re welcome! Let me know how it goes with the suit. And great blog by the way!
Do they speak english there
Yes, they do!
You should post more pictures of how you look in the suits. We all have different styles and I would like to see how the suits look and fit you. Thanks
Ron,
That’s a great idea! I plan to go back and get another suit in the coming weeks. I’m going to document the entire exprience from start to finish so everyone can see exactly how you can go about it as well as the way it looks.
I like my suits to be fitted so I can avoid the boxy look. New photos are in the works!
