In Seoul and burned out on Korean food? Perish the thought! However, if you are about to pass out if you see another bowl of kimchi have no fear because Dos Tacos is there for you. Who knew that Seoul would be serving up Mexican food? I hardly expected to see a Taco Bell, which is probably a good thing, let alone a Dos Tacos.
Not that I had ever heard of Dos Tacos before, but once stepping inside I noticed it was indeed a step up from Taco Bell. A small step, but a step nonetheless. Dos Tacos is quick casual Mexican cuisine so don’t go running inside if you’re looking for an authentic South of the border experience, because you will be dissappointed.
But if you just want a taco or burrito to break up the monotony then Dos Tacos is waiting. This one is in Hongdae, but you can find Dos Tacos in Gangnam, Apgujong, and several more spots around the city.
Speaking as a San Diegan, you could do much, much worse than the Dos Tacos in Bundang (Seohyeon Station).
If you miss Dos Tacos then you would be camped outside the door of Taco Rico waiting for them to open every day!
I miss Dos Tacos. My only problem with the one in Hongdae would be that they close too early. What does any American/Canadian/etc want at 4:00 AM after a night of partying? Mexican food! It might be a bit of a stretch to stay open until 4 though.
