KMK: Board Game Rooms in Korea

Game Board Rooms

Finding the ways to pass the time and have fun in Korea isn’t hard to do at all. Here in kimchiland it’s all about the room experience. Noraebang singing rooms can be found on almost every corner. DVD movie rooms provide ample space for couples to cuddle up and watch their favorite movie away from the prying eyes of parents and families. PC rooms bring together the young and old alike in a keyboard mashup of computer game adventure. And then there are the Game board rooms.CLUE

It’s in the game board rooms that you can assemble a group of friends and spend an afternoon playing your favorite board games. Once you arrive you just find a place to sit. These places are popular so you may have to wait awhile. You can find dozens of friends hanging out playing their favorite board game, drinking coffees or tea, and laughing away. Other tables can be packed with guys and gals coolly eying the competition in a game of  Magic the Gathering. The places are really full of good cheer and fun.

After you grab a table just browse through the menu of board games they have in stock. Once you’ve determined your first selection just tell the staff and they’ll rush it over along with a courtesy snack. You can change the game your playing at any point and select something else. Prices are by the hour. There also plenty of munchies to be bought as well.

At the Game room we went to there was Risk, CLUE, UNO, Battleship, Scrabble, and dozens of other games. These places can be a little tougher to find than noraebangs or PC Rooms but they’re out there.

        Hey Mary,

If you’re facing Krispy Kreme then it will be to your left a few doors down. It’s in a building on the fifth or sixth floor. Hope that helps!

Also other game rooms can be found just keep your eyes peeled.
