KMK: The Flying Pan Blue

Food Restaurants

  • How To Maker breakfast you don’t have to settle for the standard scrambled eggs, thin slices of bacon, and a slice of bread. Why bother with such meager offerings when The Flying Pan Blue has so much more to offer.

Tucked away next to the Hamilton Hotel in Itaewon, the Flying Pan Blue boasts a menu of breakfast and brunch delights that could rival any establishment daring to even attempt a poached egg let alone french toast. Yes, you can get french toast, which in Seoul has been harder to find than a Dr. Pepper. The real prize on the menu has to be the selection of mouth watering pancake delights like Pancakes with choice toppings of bananas, walnuts, ricotta cheese, figs, ice cream, and even bacon!

Not to worry if, God forbid, pancakes aren’t your thing you can always order up poaches eggs with sauteed mushrooms, hummus, and roasted tomatoes or eggs benedict with ham and spinach. The menu goes beyond breakfast and brunch and you can tackle the dinner offerings which I have yet to partake of. However, I have been eyeing the curry chicken sandwich.

So, do yourself a favor and duck into the Flying Pan Blue when you’re in the mood for something delicious. I’m sure no matter the time of day they will have a tasty bite to eat just for you.

Did I mention I also had the Chai Indian tea? The aroma alone was worth the price of that cup of love.
