Korean Classes Global Village are the way to go. When you make the big move to Korea the desire to learn the language burns bright. Even for the long timers the opportunity to improve skills long ago burnt into cinders may be appealing. To that end a good way to keep that fire lit and going is to try out the classes at a Global Village Center. Ciara give’s her first hand account about her experience at the Yeoksam location.
Yeoksam Global Village Center is a place for foreigners to gather the resources they need in one place. One of the resources offered is the opportunity to learn Korean. Classes start at the beginner’s level and go up until level 4B. Each level is approximately 3 months long and requires a test to reach the next level. There is also a midterm test and an essay that needs to be completed for each level.
There are a lot of great things about taking classes at the Global Village. First, the classes are free of charge! Second, the teachers are very dedicated and teach in an interactive and fun way. Third, the clas sizes are very small, with between 6 to 9 students. Because the class sizes are so small, it is easy for the teacher to give individualized attention when necessary. The classes are approximately 1 hour long. This is a great place to study Korean.
