KMK: Santorini

Food Restaurants

There’s two spots called Santorini in Itaewon. I previously reviewed the one on the main Itaewon street: Santorini Taverna. Contributor and Author Veniese tackled the original Santorini located amidst the back streets behind the Hamilton Hotel.

Among the maddening crowd of restaurants and bars behind the Hamilton Hotel is a monument to mediocrity, Santorini Greek Restaurant. Santorini is a beautiful island that has probably inspired many love affairs, but the bland food at Santorini’s in Itaewon is utterly uninspiring. The spinach in the spinach pie tastes like the frozen box of spinach from whence it came. The spinach pie was also served at a lukewarm temperature; therefore, there was more than minimal grease saturation rolex replica. The chicken souvlaki was edible, but underwhelming and bland. The grilled fish tasted like box cod that had been in the freezer for months. The Santorini location near McDonalds is marginally better, if you are feeling pressed to eat something Greekish.

If you want good Greek food and you live in Seoul, then visit a travel website or go to a travel agent.
