The Booth took the pizza craze in the little neighborhoods of Gyeongridan and Haebonchon and has come out on top. When it comes to actually going to a pizza joint rather than ordering then I will definitely hit them up before the competition. Why?
They keep it simple. The folks at The Booth offer up great pizza by the slice. By taking the pie from Monster Pizza and making it on location at their establishment they deliver not only great pizza, but also make it convenient. Sometimes, you don’t want to smother yourself in a whole pie. Grabbing a slice on the go keeps you satisfies your pizza craving without over indulging. They sell out quick because the two times I visited I had to wait awhile for the next pizza to finish.
They offer both Pepperoni and cheese a long with the usual Parmesan, hot sauce, and hot pepper flakes. Don’t worry about the lack of choice. You don’t need it. The pizza is suitably sauced and cheesy and they aren’t stingy with the pepperoni if you go that route. I’m usually a fan of crispy crust but their floppy NY style pizza may convert me. They also serve up two different kinds of beer: Bill’s Pale Ale (5,000), watermelon wheat ale (7,000), and Hefeweizen (6,000). I’m not really a beer drinker so I can’t vouch. I’d rather have a glass of wine. Still, the folks sitting around eating all had a brew in front of them so that says something.
