KMK: DeEspresso Room

Cafes Food

Editor’s Note: Sadly gentrification has pushed this place out! Closed.

DeEspresso is a teeny tiny spot along the main HBC drag, but it’s a cozy place to chill with a cup of coffee in one hand and a kindle in the other. The make the most out of the space, strategically placing tables in just the right spot like a game of jenga. The welcoming atmosphere more than makes up for the lack of space. Plus it’s one of the few places open early enough to grab a cup of coffee on the way to work.

I would say the highlight of DeExpresso are the lattes like pumpkin spice and vanilla but there are also options like tangerine ginger tea, milk tea, lemongrass, blueberry Rooibos, and deep hot chocolate. You could also choose to order one of the tasty smoothies my favorite being Chocolate Banana, but others include Banana, Caramel Banana, and Mango. There’s also a selection of cakes, cookies, and muffins.

Bacon Egg bagel + americano for 5,000 W.
