Noodle box is as simple as it is straight forward: Noodles in a box. Forget take away and carry out, at noodle box you get your order in a little white carton no matter if you’re dining in or carrying away. It’s a clever conceit to get those much wanted bodies into seats, but no matter the gimmick a restaurant has got to deliver on the taste front if it expects to get repeat business and not just a novel one time visit. To be honest I enjoyed the food and will go again, but if it was a choice between Noodle Box and Bao then I would definitely choose the latter.
The best thing about Noodle Box is the speed. You get your food pretty quickly. Even with a fair number of people waiting my order came up in about five minutes. And speaking of ordering, the menu has a few different options to choose from. There’s Pad Thai, Thai Chili, Pho Xao, Thai Fried Noodles, Mi Goreng, and Nasi Goreng. Prices Hover around 6,000 KRW. Each comes with an assortment of veggies as well as your choice of egg and either shrimp, chicken, or seafood medley. It’s quick and easy and decent. Perfect for grabbing something on the go.
