Burger joints can be found all throughout Seoul. There are big chains like Lotteria (yuck), Kraze Burger (so-so), and Burger King (fine in a pinch) as well as mom and pop shops like Corner Bistro (yummy). Some of these places are good, most of them are mediocre, but sometimes they are absolutely delicious. I believe Burger B falls into the latter category.
I went to Burger B recently with my brother Chris and my friends Kalli and Ryan. Inside the place as an open airy feel with a distinct urban vibe. The kitchen is open so you can watch the cooks flip burgers and warm buns. They even have a spot to do old school soda fountain milkshakes.
We settled in and put in our order. The way the menu you works is that you have a little sheet with all kinds of extras you can add. Choice of cheese, bacon, onions, mushrooms, and the like. You can also pick between shrimp burgers, cheese burgers, pop burgers, BBB burger, mushroom burger, chili burger, and beef or chicken quesadillas.
Once I received my bacon cheese burger and took the first bite I had a smile on my face. It was juicy, with crisp lettuce and succulent tomatoes slices and I devoured it in minutes. The fries were okay, I usually like thick home fries but Burger B’s did the trick. I almost ordered a milkshake but I’m only down with the chocolate shake and they only have vanilla and strawberry so I missed out.
Prices are around 7,000W and up for a burger and fries depending on your choice of burger and the extra toppings. Which isn’t so bad for the quality of burger you’re going to get.
I should mention they also have chili cheese fries on the menu. They also give you a foodies card to collect some stamps for a free burger or coffee.

By far the best burger I’ve had in Seoul, maybe anywhere. The milkshakes are phenomenal too. @phoenixstorm, they now have chocolate shakes too.
Thanks Jerry! I’ll have to make it down there and check out those new chocolate milkshakes!
I love this place! 10 Magazine ran a piece on it a while back: http://10magazine.asia/1878/burger-b-a-real-american-burger/
I find myself going back again and again…the owner’s real nice, too.
David
Hey David, yeah it really is a fantastic spot! Now if they only add chocolate shakes!
Awesome, report back and tell us what you thought!
Checkin it out tomorrow.
Awesome, there are few other joints that should be on that list as well!
I shall be arriving in 5 weeks so this has added to my list of things to do 🙂
Thanks.
