KMK: Cafe Nono

Cafes Food

Tucked away in the streets of Samcheon-Dong awaits Cafe Nono. The Samcheon-Dong area is amazing with museums, galleries, and boutiques on one side and bordered by Kyongbok Palace on the other side. The cafe itself is housed in a traditional styled building complete with a courtyard which gives you a faraway lost in time feel.

This same mood continues inside and its like stepping into someone’s living room. It’s the perfect spot to settle down with a cup of coffee after a long day popping into galleries or you could just curl up with your favorite book.

Munchies like cakes and cookies can be bought, but I suggest ordering the honey toast: Thick slices of bread lightly toasted with honey drizzled on top along with a dollop of vanilla ice cream.  Order that with tea or coffee and you’ll never want to leave. And for those with a taste for something a bit more adventurous there’s a particular coffee that’s made from beans take from the droppings of a muscat. I didn’t try it but I’m hoping someone out there will report back.

I will say though that Cafe Nono is a definite yes, yes.

    1. Hmm, Its right across from the palace under construction near Samcheondong. ON the big wide street before you turn off to the left where all the cafes and shops and restaurants are.
