Whats a guy to do on a gloomy overcast sunday afternoon in Seoul? Take in a Korean basketball game of course! We headed over to Sports Comple station where the home stadium of the SK Knights is located.
Tickets were only 4,000won and with the super cheap SK Knight Swag fun could definitely be had for under 10,000won.
Inside the stadium the court seemed a bit shall we say, cramped, but once the game started it didn’t matter how compact the court or how short the net because the energy of the racous crowd swept me up in the excitement.
Spotting the foreigners on the team proved to be easy as they were most likely to be guarding each other. Oh, and because they were definitely not Korean.
During the game the cheerleaders cheered from their seats, but once Half Time hit they broke out with their coordinated showgirl moves complete with T Money and Pocari Sweat mascots.
A few of the Korean players definitely had game with their three point shots, but the most applause came with the slam dunks.
DEFENCE!!!!!
Rabid Fans!
Scantily clad cheerleaders! The kiddies also playled during the half time show! Dare I say they more entertaining than the mainevent? What more could you ask for?
BALOONS!

Hi! This is the first time I have left a message for you, although I have been reading your blog since I moved here 10 months ago. I'm a military spouse, and I 'follow' you by doing many of the things you post here. I know my family would LOVE to attend a basketball game…do you have a link to the schedule, or even the name of the team so I can find it? I love your postings and will miss you when you are gone….
Aren't you a foreigner yourself… lol</></>Thx for the pics. I've never been to a basketball match esp. in Korea
