Saturday it was all about the World DJ Festival! Last year we arrived near midnight, but this time around we stormed the festival grounds at six pm which still made us late since the festivities started at 2 pm.
We almost got lost on the way to the grounds, but we managed to find the flow of people trickling into the festival and followed their lead.
This band set up outside the grounds to jam their own alternative reggae sounds. To give the crowd options I think.
A free egg is a good egg and one step closer to healthy living unless of course its a five foot purple egg.
The grounds were slowly filling up even in the evening as people made a picnic out of the event.
For a DJ fest there was no shortage of power balladeers and hip hoppers, rap duos, and rock and rollers banging out their music.
The festival also had tents where you could get gussied up in a costume, get tatts, scrawl graffitti, or get your face painted.
So true for the first one, but the second one has my eyebrow raised questioningly.
As night fell the DJs came crawling out of their beds to take the stage and blast us with booty shaking beats.
We stayed until five am and a good time was had by all. If you missed it, don’t worry there’s always next year!

What are those big pipes for? Can you place them using Google Earth? Enjoy your summer!
