KMK: Aussie Open Antics

The Austrailian Open is underway down under and Korea has it’s very own Lee Hung Taik already making waves into the second round. Now I discovered that in Korea if a Korean player is in the tournament that they will show that match over and over and over no matter what. During the US Open I swear I saw Lee defeat the same opponent twenty times.

I can’t complain too much because the same thing happens in the States. We’ll see Andy Roddick 24 hours a day without so much as a glimpse of any other player. Though I do hope that Lee progresses. So far I have been surprised that the coverage has been so even handed among the different players.

I’ve got my tennis shoes on and I’m looking forward to a great tournament with a Federer and Venus Williams win!
