KMK: Bjork Enroute

Arts Music
That’s right, Bjork, the maven of musical madness, will be arriving in Seoul on February 16, 2008 as a part of her World Wide Volta tour. She will be performing at the Olympic Hall of Olympic Park and this will be the icelandic songstress’ first ever appearance in Korea. I for one have already gotten a ticket.

I’ve never seen Bjork live, but I have been a fan since her Debut and Post albums from years ago. A couple co-workers have already seen Bjork live and they warned me that she has a tendency to show up whacked out of her mind on psychedelics which will only be cool if she’s sharing with the entire auditorium. If not then watching a singer you dig stumble around on stage and babble about incoherently can’t be much fun, unless the show is Bobby Brown opening for Whitney Houston. Now that circus I would pay to see willingly.
Bjork, I love you, but you’re no Whitney Houston on crack and I am not looking forward to seeing you wigged out on some acid trip. First of all, I cannot even imagine how far out she must be on drugs considering her already quirky persona. Maybe she actually comes across normal while on drugs and becomes a Katie Couric clone. That would be scary enough to put a whole generation of kids off drugs.
Anyone else a Bjork fan? Come to the concert!

  1. My friend got the tickets over the phone by giving them his credit card number. I’ll double check with him though to be sure.

  2. Hey, thanks for the info. I have a quick question: you say ring 1544-1555, is this the full number? isn't it one digit too long (I haven't phoned it yet because I don't get paid until Monday!). My friend said he was given a bank account number and he has to physically go to the bank and transfer money and then they'll send the tickets, is this how yours worked? It seems a little strange to me? Can you not just buy tickets in Family Mart? I'd like to pay in cash if possible…
