My friends and I made a trip to Myungdong to search for a place to eat. Myungdong is one of the hot spot destinations in Seoul for shopping. It’s full of shops and clothing stores and you can buy whatever your wardrobe closet desires. Short shorts? Check. Baggie jeans? Gotcha. Fishnet eighties stockings? You bet. Myung Dong will please everyone.
We were pretty lucky in that the streets were not that crowded. Usually the streets of Myungdong are tightly packed with fashionistas, trendsetters, preppies, and the hip hop set trolling the streets looking for the latest and greatest piece of clothing.
Any store or brand you can imagine is probably within reach from Apple bottom Jeans to XY cologne. So if you want to get that shopping fix sated then head on over to Myungdong and get your shopping on or just go and people watch, because that’s half the fun in my opinion.
i was passing through korea last september, and i hung out in myung dong for a little while one night with some friends. it was packed like sardines. we each had a foot-tall ice cream cone this little kid was selling.>>pretty funny
