KMK: Home Sweet Home

Teach

Hey there, Seoul explorers! It’s official – I’ve finally moved into my new apartment in the vibrant yangchun-gu district, and let me tell you, it’s quite the adventure in itself. From hidden alleys to treacherous cobblestones and quirky shower setups, my new digs are a story waiting to be told. So, buckle up for a tour of my humble abode!

Getting Lost, But in a Good Way: First things first, my new place is a bit of a hidden gem. Tucked away among the small alleyways of yangchun-gu, it’s the kind of spot you might walk right by if you’re not careful. And let me tell you, those cobblestones at night? They’re like a secret obstacle course, just waiting to trip you up. I’m all for adventure, but let’s try to keep it graceful, shall we?

Enter the Gate (Duck!): Now, let’s talk about the gate to my complex. There’s a tree looming overhead, just daring you to bump your head on it. Drunken nights stumbling home? Oh boy, they’re like a real-life game of limbo – one wrong move, and you’ve got a souvenir bruise. Trust me; I’ve learned the hard way. Always remember to duck!

Inside My Cozy Abode: But enough about the outside world; let’s step into my cozy haven. The layout is refreshingly simple, with the entryway leading right into the kitchen. To the right, you’ll find the bedroom – complete with a TV, DVD player, and a small desk. It’s my little slice of paradise for binge-watching K-dramas and getting some work done.

Room with a View (and a Washing Machine!): Next up is the second bedroom, which boasts a dresser, a handy rack for drying my clothes, and a small patio where the washing machine resides. Laundry day with a view, anyone? It’s like having a mini-oasis right outside my bedroom window.

The Quirky Bathroom Saga: Now, let’s talk about the bathroom – or should I say, the unconventional shower setup. There’s no bathtub in sight because, well, the shower is built right into the wall. Yep, you heard me right. The whole bathroom doubles as a shower. It’s different, for sure, but hey, it works! I’ve just got to make sure everything I want to stay dry is tucked away in that trusty little cabinet.

So there you have it, folks – my Seoul apartment adventures, complete with hidden alleyways, cobblestone challenges, and a bathroom that’s all about efficiency. It may not be your typical setup, but it’s home sweet home, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Until next time, stay sassy, Seoul! 🏡🚿🌆
