The area around Hyehwa station on the light blue line is among the most vibrant in Seoul. First, there are a bozoogle of restaurants catering to both Korean and Western taste buds. Burgers, pasta, curries, noodles and pizza can all be yours even on the same day if you’ve got a hankering to quell.
The second best thing about Hyehwa is that it’s one of the major theater districts in Seoul. Care to take in a play or a musical? Perhaps some live comedy is more to your liking? Well, if it is then this is the place to be. You can probably even catch some buskers performing live for coin if you’re lucky. Though I can’t guarantee how good they’ll be.
Hyehwas also has throng of bars and hoffs with plenty of soju ready to flow. Though I’m not too sure if they’re are any clubs about in the area. If getting your drank on isn’t in the cards you could also meander among the hundreds of shops and stores. Though not as swanky as Apgujeong, Hyehwa puts up a respectable showing in the shop department.
So why are you still reading this and not on a subway train to Hyehwa?

Those are really magnificent work of art. Whoever will see those work of art would definitely take a shot of it. Great pictures though.
Tara, I’m just not quite sure where I found those statues. I would have to go wander around there again.
Neat pictures.
That area is fun at times. Though the Gandalf statue still makes me go WTF.
I do have a question, though. Where from Hyehwa Station, do we go to that woman holding a bird statue? My friend wants to go see the statue in real life.
Thanks!
