You know what? When it comes to the portrayal of the candidates’ wives I am sick and tired of the constant missives being fired at Michelle Obama. What ever happened to that vast liberal media that Fox news is always crying about? I never see or hear a criticism of Cindy “Pureheart” McCain on the cable news shows or evening news casts. Is she somewhere shoving millions of dollars into people’s mouths to keep them quiet? Has she threatened to keep her barrels of bud on lockdown, sending reporters everywhere into a tizzy of potential sobriety? Or has her Budweiser henchmen been keeping tabs on the media ready to crack some skulls, because when it comes to Cindy “Pureheart” McCain I don’t think anything is beyond her.
Have you seen her out and about on the morning chat show circuit babbling about how much SHE LOVES HER COUNTRY and how she has no idea why Michelle Obama said what she did. Well, Cindy, if you would take the time to pull your head out of the medicine cabinet and actually read a paper or watch a news cast you’d know that Michelle Obama was referring to being proud for the first time about the state of the country’s political process.
The regressive pundits and blow hards don’t want to hear the truth. Unlike Laura Bush who actually excercised some some judgement and gave Michelle the benefit of the doubt, Cindy McCain has been gleefully bringing the hammer down on Michelle Obama.
Well, turn about is fair play. Right?
