KMK: Lunar New Year

Culture Lifestyle
Today is the first day of the Lunar New Year Holiday, also known as Chinese New Year. The streets are pretty deserted with people off and about on their vacation holidays. Even the subway system seems desolate which is unusual since every other time I feel like I’m trapped in a sardine can.

I’m staying in Korea for the holiday and I’m going to enjoy the three days off. The holiday is second only to Chuseok in popularity.

I might mosey over to the Seoul zoo or find some cultural activity to get into. Have a great Holiday!
