KMK: Wentworth Miller

Arts TV

In Korea Wentworth Miller, the star of Fox’s Prison Break, reigns as a superstar. Who knew? Certainly not me. I’ve never seen an episode of Prison Break but I remember Wentworth from his cameo on Buffy The Vampire Slayer.

Ha! Bet you didn’t remember that one. I miss Buffy. Anyway, here in South Korea Wentworth isn’t some two bit cameo start he’s the main attraction with millions of Koreans going crazy as if he were a one man boy band. Take a look when he sang Happy Birthday to his Korean Fans.

Unreal! It’s like David Hasselholf in Germany only less creepy. Here are a few of his advertisements here in Seoul, just in case you still don’t believe me.

French Cafe, coffee anyone?

Bean Pole, fashion for the masses.

So don’t say a bad word about the Went if you are in Korea or you might find yourself surrounded and torn to bits not just by teenaged girls but grown men, housewives, and probably the national soccer team.
