I’ve been hearing about Naked Grill in Itaewon for weeks from friends. I finally had the chance to go a few weeks ago with my friends Ian and Rebecah. I’m happy to say that all the good things I’ve heard rang true for the most part.
The first thing I noticed about the Naked Grill is the style. It’s done in purples and silver chrome giving it a dynamic modern feel. There’s also a stage and ample seating for performances which typically happen Friday and Saturday nights. In between there’s music spinning all the time. The best part being that they actually play the video to accompany whatever song is on.
Then there is the food. Burgers, wings, sandwiches as well as pastas and a surf and turf menu can all be had. My friends and I went with the burgers which were decent, but not among the best I’ve had in Korea. I’ll give another dish a spin next time around. Still, even though the burger didn’t wow me the drink menu did. There are so many delightful concoctions to try that you might wind up spending the evening here instead of heading down to B1.
This is especially true when you keep in mind their weekday specials:
Mondays: 1,000 won shooters
Tuesdays: Wing Night 10 for 5,000w
Wednesdays: Mojitos and Margaritas
Thursdays: Ladies Night!
If that doesn’t get you in there then maybe knowing that they stay open till 5 am the kitchen 4am will. They even have a midnight munchie menu. All of the above combines to make Naked Grill the perfect after hours spot to chill after a club and maybe before too!
You can find Naked Grill around the corner from KFC in Itaewon above B1 and below Buddha’s Belly.
