Do you love beer? Not just love as in grabbing a pint after work. I’m talking about the long haul, hours of chugging with a table of empty mugs in your wake. Now that’s a true beer lover and if that’s you then boys, and girls, do I have the place for you: Ka brew.
Ka-brew is a new microbrewery in Seoul. The main attraction of the beer hall is that it’s an all you can drink beer buffet bonanza. When you walk in stop first at the nifty ticket machine. You can decide on either the straight up 10,000won beer feast, or choose the 12,000won beer and side, or the 15,000won beer, sausage and fries combo. Give your ticket to the waiter and he’ll exchange it for a beer mug. Then off you go to pour your own beer.
There’s the Korean Hite and Cass on tap as well as a Czech pilsner described as light and a German weizen which would be citrusier. A sticker happily proclaims that you can drink as much as you want. Being a beer neophyte the staff eagerly took me under their wing to explain the differences between light and dark beers as well as how to properly fill my mug by tilting it to the side.
The folks at Ka-brew also are putting together a tour at their bervwery in Sangheon near Gapyong, a city by the Bukhan river forty miles East north east of Seoul. The trip takes about ninety minutes from Chongyangni station. Once groups of about ten sign up you’ll be all set. Check out the info below for more info on the trip.

R: Points for using cornucopia! Brasilia sounds good, let me know! I should do a review!
Wouldn’t it be excellent if someone came up with a steak buffet offering a cornucopia of cuts of steak and side dishes? Oh WAIT! They HAVE! Let’s go to Brasilia very soon! I need to pack on some meat before I hibernate for the winter.
Here’s a haven for me!!
