KMK: Hi Seoul Summer Festival

Here are the pics from the Summer Hi Seoul Festival. I actually only spent a morning there and so missed out on a lot. Yet I still managed to take in the event and check things out.
The Festival was held down by the Han river near Mapo gu Bridge. There were tables, tents, event stands and food stalls all set up for your enjoyment.
The day was so hot they even had a snow machine blowing to keep the kiddies cool.

The rowboat event had a few brave souls taking part in the race.

The zorb ball worked by shimmying insde the big plastic bubble and then running around inside as you float on the river.
Music was also on hand with some lovely jazz stylings. If you can’t beat the heat you can at least enjoy it with some cool jazz.





The bird man contest had people racing down the plank and jumping into the river to see how far they could get. The winner with the most outlandish outfit who got the furtherest won 100,000 won.







And in the coming fall and winter there will be two more Hi Seoul festivals.
