I know its been awhile since I’ve posted about my trip to Beijing, but better late than never, right? This time I want to share the day we spent at the Summer Palace. The Summer Palace is also known as the garden of nurtured harmony and its highlights include longevity hill and the kumming lake.
The Summer Palace was truly a great experience. The grounds are carpeted in spectacular flowers and statues and beautiful buildings. The Palace also served as a resort for the Dowager Empress Cixi. If you’re in Beijing it’s definitely worth it to spend a day exploring the grounds.
