My friend Nicole and I went out to Insadong last weekend. We did some souvenir shopping and decided to grab a bite to eat at Agio, an Italian restaurant with locations both in Insadong and Hongdae.
As you can see from the menu, Agio offers up a selection of pastas, salads, and pizzas from a wood oven stove. There is enough variety to the menu to appease even the most finicky of customers.
Nicole’s expression says it all. Agio’s ivy covered red brick entrance combined with the rustic interior highlighted by hardwood floors and a ceiling complete with wooden beams gives you the feeling that you’re dining in a far off cabin in the hills.
The Good: brown bag baked chicken pasta
The Bad: prices could be a tad lower
The Weird: The mushrooms were meaty and satisfying with a texture that mimicked beef.
