I believe this is the North Kleang which along with the South Kleang may have been palaces long long ago.
The Kleangs are surrounded by twelve towers which form a sort of honor guard. Artists performed on bridges strung by tight rope between the towers.

Ta Keo is a huge temple that seems kind of plain compared to its brother and sister temples, but it has its own unique charm. It was dedicated to Shiva and was the first Angkorian mounument built entirely of sandstone.
