T-Money Card Korea. What do you do in Seoul when it’s late at night, you have no cash, the banks are all closed, and there is no atm in sight? You break out your T Money card and put that baby to work. T Money cards are smart cards here in Seoul.
They act as debit cards. You buy one at the any convenience store or subway station and put 5,000 won, 25,000 won or any amount of won you like on it. Once your T money card is charged up you are ready to rock. You can use it on buses, subways, and you can even use it in GS 25 and 7-11 convenience stores. Is that a life saver in a pinch or what?
T-Money chips can also be found in cute little dolls and trinkets to attach to your cell phone or even in your cell phone itself. You can also buy mini cards! T Money gives you a multitude of options to make you happy.
The T in T Money stands for Touch, Travel, Traffic, and Technology.
Good information about T-money card! Here is more tip for transportation in Korea. In ICN(airport), you can buy some good packages, ‘express train and T-money card’ , ‘express train and international taxi’ and ‘express train and EG sim card(phone card)’. With express train, you can go to the central of Seoul(Seoul station) directly, and you can take a all transportation with T-money card. Also if you have many bags and your travel companies, you can take a international taxi. Lastly, if you want to buy a simcard, you can get the third one. These are all reasonable and have special deal prices. If you are interested in these all, you can get more information at travel center in ICN. Thanks.
That’s so helpful! Sometimes, the Seoul transportation system is so crazy and confusing, but this helps a lot! Keep it up, please!
