Chan Bros Coffee. To those that know Seoul know that coffee is king. To that end hundreds upon hundreds of coffee shops literally dot the streets sometimes even right next door to each other. You’l have a Starbucks, Cafe Bene, Tom and Toms and even an Ediya coffee all within several yards of each other.
I’ve done a coffee master list and even a breakdown of my favorite non franchised establishments, but I feel its time for a timely addition. You see in neighborhood of Gyeongridan Chan Bros Coffee,a relatively new spot, has been brewing coffee that keeps me coming back for more and more. I think it’s one of the best spots in the city.
Chan Bros coffee is the original sister cafe Chan Espresso Bar in Hongdae. The one in Gyeongridan is run by his own brother! The highlight of Chan Bros is that they serve up intelligentsia Coffee beans which boast some of the most aromatic and flavorful beans in the world. If you haven’t tried it before now’s your chance!
