KMK: HoHo Myoll Cafe

Cafes Food

HoHo Myoll Cafe is one of those cute little coffee shops nestled in the heart of Hongdae. It’s a place where you’ll find college girls hanging out with their girlfriends chatting over their coffee and couples gaming together in some online universe.

The standout feature which sets Myoll apart from the throng of coffee shops in Seoul is definitely the décor. Here you’ll walk in the front right into a VW van that has been hollowed out to serve as the checkout counter. It’s parked next to a tree and layered with knickknacks alongside the necessary accoutrements of coffee shops around the world like syrups, teas, sugars, and cookies.

That’s just the beginning.

Inside there’s an explosion of kitsch not seen since the Hello Kitty Coffee Shop. You’ll find Japanese toys, Disney toys, shelves of books, Hot Wheels, cutesy kewpie pie dolls, flags, seventies breakfast cereal boxes, Campbell soup cans, and a collage of drawings and personal notes stuck on a poster board.

The menu at Myoll includes Tomato or Mushroom curry, panini sandwiches, a variety of quiche, cakes, brownies, muffins, coffees, teas, and a bevy of other beverages.
