Goulash and Bread

KMK: Goulash Soup & Bread

Food Restaurants

If you’re in Hongdae and in the mood for a hearty but inexpensive meal then boy do I know a place for you. Goulash Soup & Bread located next to the little park near Honik University serves up steaming bowls of Hungarian deliciousness.  We’re talking potatoes, carrots, onions, with spices galore.

A lovely couple runs the place. They make you feel right at home as though you’re in the kitchen (which you practically are since the place is so small).  They traveled in Eastern Europe and fell in love with the food and culture. They couldn’t wait to get back home to cook some up for their countrymen and you too of course. They’ll gladly dish out refills until you can’t eat another bite. Oh and you get bread too! Cooked right there in there on the spot. You can’t pass that up especially when I tell you that it comes at the low price 3,500Won.

Goulash soup & Bread is right by Smoothie King and Gio Cat Café.

  1. OMG- I totally fell upon this place in July and blogged it too. People should know about it. It was a godsend! The food was great and cheap. My favorite part– the set came with a green salad. Normal green, not flooded with dressing.
