On the heels of the last commercial post a reader pointed me to a thread on an esl community website that featured the gem below.
Now the majority of the thread thought the commercial to be insensitive at best and racist at worst with most, it seems, leaning toward the racist side. What do you think?

Dokebi: Yeah the commercial is stupid and not very effective.
lurking: piggy sucking laptop batteries seems about right, though they are all white which could just be a coincidence
Okay, I must be oblivious.
I’ve seen that commercial many times and never noticed that all the people with pig noses were white. Really. I just figured pig noses = piggy powersucking laptop batteries, never made the race connection at all.
And I’m white.
It’s like….
more European/western/modern u r less of a pig-nose?
The commercial didn’t make sense in anyway. Why have bunch of white guys with laptops running out of battery?
