Cuoco

Gangnam seems filled with an overabundance of Korean restaurants because it is. However, with a little searching you can find something outside of the Korean box. For instance, down or shall I say up from the CGV past the Curry Pot is a wonderful street lined with restaurants. My friend Jodie and I decided on Cuoco mostly for its open air patio and quick casual Italian fare. The place is warm and inviting with a menu that spans the usual saladsl, soups, pasta dishes, and pizza. The best bet seems to be the lunch special where you can get the most bang for your buck, but even if you miss that most prices are under 20,000won.

I settled on the lasagna and Jodie took on the margarita pizza. The garlic bread was satisfying, but not a standout. My lasagna, however was filling and tasty. Jodie enjoyed her pizza and for a Sunday night bite to eat it made for a perfect evening.
