Move over Dos Tacos Tomatillo Grill has become my favorite new Mexican restaurant in Seoul. They’ve been around a few months now and my friend Rebecca and I finally managed to make the trek to Jongno to check the place out. I’m so glad we did!
The best part ot Tomatillo is that they use fresh ingredients. All the vegetables taste as if they’ve been just picked that day. The meat is succulent and savory. The salsa has an actual kick to it and the tacos are piping hot.
The prices happen to be just as mouth watering. You can score a meal for under 10,000won that will leave you fully satisfied. To find Tomatillo take exit 6 of Jongak Station (Seoul) line #1 and walk straight. It will be on your left next Au Bon Pain.

[...] blogged about Tomatillos before and had only good things to say about the place. Well it turns out I’ll have even more [...]
UPDATE: there is a Tomatillos in the Hyundai Department Store in COEX. It’s in the basement food court area. Look for it. I’ts there.

Not sure. I haven’t been to the coex one. Maybe its near the Hyundai store in the food court section and not in the Hyundai store.
Hello. I went to the Food Court in Hyundai Dept Store at Coex today and couldn’t find Tomatillo anywhere. I even asked at the information desk, to no avail. Can you be more specific about the location of this place? Thanks…
Tomatillo Grill just opened a branch at the Hyundai Dept. Store at the Coex. They are located in the basement food court level. Definitely the best mex in Seoul.
I have no idea! Kimchi!
How do you keep from weighing 300 pounds, with all the good food you find!?
Damn you SEoul~!I want one of these next to my house!
