KMK: Thanksgiving 2008 Part 2

Thanksgiving 2008 Part 2

Part two of my trip back home is coming at you without much of a delay. One of the stops I made back in Milwaukee was to the Three Domes. They’ve been around forever. Each dome houses a veritable variety of vegegation from the desert landscape to the steamy tropic jungle.
Yeah this doesn’t seem too junglesque or Arabian nights, but the third dome changes to reflect the season at hand which means Christmas was in full effect.

It had been years since I stepped into the Domes and everything inevitably seemed much smaller but still as absorbing as I remember. There’s nothing like walking in from sub zero temperatures into a face full of humidity.

There are also birds from each of the climates that live in the domes. You gotta be careful or else they might fly the coop.

My friend Jim.
Being aloof.
Ginger giving her poor me look.

Ginger being standoffish. I don’t think she believed it was me.
