KMK: Mad for Garlic

Mad for Garlic

The word garlic for me conjures up strange images, most notably vampires cowering in fear and piping hot pizzas. Well, lucky for me the restaurant chain Mad for Garlic has plenty of the latter though not much of the former.

My friend Rebecca and I ventured out into the cold streets of Gangnam to find our local Mad for Garlic. The places seem to be scattered all over Seoul. We were both MFG virgins so we didn’t know quite what to expect. Upon entering we discovered that the huge didn’t begin to describe the place. Mad for Garlic knows how to pack the people in.

We had a brief wait that flew by thanks to the complimentary wine. Once we were seated
We made a bold choice to pass on the Garlic Fried Rice with Bacon and Spawn. Though I’m sure spawn might be mighty tasty.

The garlic bread tower was absolutely delicious. The waitress even came by and prepared it for us. The garlic fondue proved to be just as equally as good.

For dinner we both opted for the chicken and pasta combo. I didn’t regret a single bite. Just so know mad for garlic is mad for your money. So expect to dish out some cash. Who knew garlic was so expensive?
