Lipstick Gate

Okay, so you probably heard how Obama compared John McCain’s economic policies to putting “lipstick on a pig” which led the Republican Campaign to immediately accuse him of calling Palin a pig because of her pitbull hockey mom comment.

Never mind that the lipstick on a pig comment has been used for over seventy years to convey the meaning of dressing up old ideas and trying to pass them off as new ones.

No.

The John McCain campaign has again sunk even lower which would probably put them on eye level with slugs. Now, Obama responded well, but come on! Saying, Enough is Enough, is all well and good, but they will not stop! Those ads will keep coming and his campaign had better start heating things up right back.

Increasingly, McCain has gone negative because negative works. They will throw so many outrageous attacks and labels at Obama until the average joe just might think that some of it must be true. Obama should start fighting fire with fire or else he’ll be toast in November.

Or maybe I’m just overreacting? What do you think?

no you’re right, & I support Obama 100%….. and so does the rest of the world. Republicans say that McCain = USA #1, but really if you’re going to pick the candidate that the rest of the world hates you really aren’t doing your country any good.Foreigners will be like, “so they did like Bush after all”

I hope Obama comes out swinging and soon. He cannot let attacks like that go by without challenging them. And forget the angry black man stereotype, we should all be “angry black men” after the crap this administration and McCain has pulled.

No, you’re not overreacting. The Dems need to hit back hard or they will lose AGAIN. You’d think they’d learn by now that taking the high road and assuming that the majority of the voting public uses their brains gets them nowhere. They can be nice, or they can win.
