So, I’ve been going through a hair revolution the last few weeks. I couldn’t seem to settle on what to do with my fro. I finally decided to shoot for dreadlocs, however, starting them left me bewildered. I didn’t want to go the leave them alone and see what happens route, so I went to Ebony hair salon in Itaewon and she gave me a head full of braids that will, eventually, loc (fingers crossed). Yet, I’m think the braids are so thin that when they start to grow will they be strong enough to support the loc? Here are a couple pics. What do you think? A dread expert I am not.

yea honestlyu dont need to let them lockthat way…if they can braidthey should be able to start locksthe leaving the braids is not the way to go. it will take dumb long and not come out in the cylindrical form thats usually desirded…they will be flat and matted…check sum youtube videos on starting locsgood luck
In all honestly, bro, getting some knotty locks from braids isn’t the best way to go about it.You really need to find someone or a salon who is willing to knot you up from scratch.Just some ideas.Good luck with your knots, brother.Peas!
i got a homeboy who does locs! his name is Bakari, right now he’s only doing locs (starting them and retightenings), you can reach him on yahoo IM, dj.iroko.
