KMK: Russian Revolution

Russian Revolution

Ruslana! No, it’s not a James Bond vixen with bee stung lips, hypnotic eyes, and a body to kill for, but you’d be close. Ruslana is a Russian pop princess who I stumbled upon while surfing NPR. She’s in the news not because she’s flashing her punani like a certain American pop princess past her prime, but for her eco friendly music taking her nation by storm.

You see tight pants, fast cars, and cute boys just aren’t enough for Ruslana who sings about “Wild Energy” which means harnessing the power of the sun, wind, and water to put an end to our use of fossil fuels. And the message is all wrapped up in a love song.

Ruslana also won the Eurovision contest back in 2004 with her saucy number Wild Dances.

In her new video her pale corpselike bleach blond incarnation represents the person living off those dangerous fossil fuels while her wild woman unleashed persona is all about embracing natural engergy.

So what do you think of Ruslana?
